“I just believe that people are to fast to judge others. It is sad, if anyone doesn't believe that a child could get brain damage from falling down the stairs, I strongly suggest that you go to www.fox9.com and in the search box type in "comeback" and they click on kayle and listen to her story. I would also like to let everyone out there know that the courts have ruled out ‘shaken baby’.”

The following is my response:  “People ARE too fast to judge others.  But people are also too fast to forgive others who commit abuse because we don't want to see it or accept that people can be extremely vicious and remarkably cruel.  I watched the Channel 9 episode on Kaley.  Her story is sad.  Her story is also enlightening and encouraging.  But she is 17 years old.  She had an accident.  She is not two years old.  She did not have signs of other abuse.

“I want the authorities to try this case and resolve it.  Given the legal system it could take years for a prosecutor to actually bring this case to trial.  I am sure that the defense attorneys will do everything in their power to make sure that this case never IS resolved.  The longer this takes the more likely that the evidence will be corrupted and that whoever DID abuse this child gets off scott free.  That is the saddest part of this whole thing.

“This is the time for all of us to stand up TOGETHER...and to push for the truth.  Whatever happens happens.  But lets get whoever abused this child the consequence he or she deserves.

“This child does not deserve to be ignored and her abuser deserves to be punished.

“Whoever that abuser might be.”
