We hit another milestone.  Thank you for reading.

Marx predicted that the left would take over the world based on a violent revolution.  So far, that has failed.  So, a new tact has been taken by Liberal Fascists.  The goal now is to litigate, legislate, and regulate our nation into destruction. 

Litigate:  The ACLU has litigated away most core American values in so many ways that I won’t even try to list them here.  Just use the search engine on the right and put in “individual rights”.  The list of those rights being taken away continues to grow, partially as a result of litigation or the threat of litigation.  As we have seen in California and even Texas, it just takes one leftist judge to change the definition or marriage or to prevent caring adults from preventing children from being abused.

Legislate/Regulate:  If Liberal Fascists can gain passage of enough legislation favoring their cause (i.e., the moral and ethical decay of America), they can still destroy our nation, without a shot being fired.  So, that is what they are doing.  For example, the very same “scientists” that predicted global cooling in the second half of the 1970’s and who now profess a unique understanding of climate change that now points to global warming, have helped the left to misuse the Endangered Species Act of 1973 to place polar bears on the endangered species list.  The strange part is that those darn bears aren’t playing by the rules and are thriving.  However, they COULD potentially become threatened IF the theory of global warming turns out to be more accurate than the theory of global cooling and IF they don’t like warmer weather.  (see Caribou along the Alaskan pipeline)

The frightening part of all this is that at this point, any leftist judge can now take away even more of our individual rights just by saying that some action that we take endangers those poor polar bears.  For example, if I was to drive a car that the judge didn’t like, I could be found guilty of creating too much carbon that will further threaten the life of those big old bears that have procreated and survived for centuries despite many fluctuations in arctic climate. 

This is “Eco-Fascism” (my term) at its worst. 

It is not surprising that Liberal Fascists use quasi-religious, quasi-scientific ecological fundamentalism to gain their way.  They have no religion of their own…they are far from spiritual, and they do not believe (as a group) in a higher power.  They also have limited (at best) scientific backup for their views (see “Cool It”, Bjorn Lomborg, 2007).  It is also not surprising that Liberal Fascists use this approach to gain further control of our lives.  As George Will wrote (Minneapolis Star Tribune, 5/23/08), “The left exists to enlarge the state’s supervision of life, narrowing individual choices in the name of collective goods.  Hence the left’s hostility to markets.  And to automobiles -- people going wherever they ant whenever they want….The green left preaches pessimism: …scarcities (of energy, food, animal habitats, humans’ living space) will require a perpetual regime of comprehensive rationing.”  Mr. Will goes on to say that in order to make this happen, all the left has to do is “stigmatize, as a planetary menace, something involved in almost everything – carbon.”

America, we must take notice and stand up right now.  I have written before of how the Vietnam era anti-war terrorists took to the schools (universities, colleges, secondary, and elementary schools) to continue their effort to destroy America.  They are succeeding in brainwashing our children.  Others from the Liberal Fascist left have also become lawyers and judges, legislators, and regulators.  As they litigate, they further their goal of gaining greater control over where we live and what we do, with the help of leftist judges.  As they legislate and create regulations supporting their leftist agenda, they further their cause with incredible power. 

Just count the number of individual freedoms you have lost, even in the last five years.  Create the list.  Email it to me or add it as a comment on this site.  I am sure we will not be surprised…but we should be shocked.

Now it is becoming extremely serious. 

The left is poised to nominate Barack Hussein Obama as their Democrat presidential candidate.  This is a man who apparently is an Oblivion…a person who is either too ignorant to see and learn from facts (Type 1) or a person who chooses to ignore facts to further his own ideology (type 2).  My studied guess on Sen. Obama is that he is a lifelong member of the latter group. 

Why would anyway say that about Sen. Obama?  Let’s look at the issue of gun control.  Most of us who actually read know that gun control has been an abysmal failure.  Scotland and England both have strict laws regarding gun ownership by citizens.  Both have seen a steady increase in homicide by guns.  No kidding, you say.  Doesn’t it make sense?  If only the bad guys can get guns, they have no fear of their intended victims.  When I can carry a gun, they have to be a bit more careful, or I will kill them.

Here is Sen. Obama’s record on gun control.  According to the journal, America’s Freedom (National Rifle Association, June, 2008), he has either voted to enact laws regarding or has voiced support for the following:

·        A ban on all handguns

·        A ban on the sale or transfer of all semi-automatic firearms (be advised, this is not about automatic weapons, i.e., machine guns, it is about SEMI-automatic firearms)

·        A ban on the right to carry a firearm in every state, nationwide

·        A ban on firearms in the home, even for self-protection

He also voted again a “self-defense exception” which would absolve people for “violating gun bans when their reason for violating those bans is to fend off criminal attack in the home.”

In addition to all that, Sen. Obama has “proposed a federal law banning licensed firearms dealers from operating within five miles of any school or park, nationwide”.  This would prevent the legal sale of firearms almost anywhere except possibly in a wilderness, as long as it is not designated as a park. 

As noted by the NRA, “while Obama’s disdain for Second Amendment freedom appears limitless, his attitude toward armed, violent criminals has been one of benign neglect, at best.”  He voted “present” as an Illinois State Senator to regarding a bill to try violent teenage gang members as adults when they fire a gun on or near school grounds.  This amounted to a negative vote.  He also voted in Illinois against making gang members eligible for the death penalty when they commit gang-related murder.  But here is the big one:  “Responding to a…questionnaire, he said he believed federal mandatory –sentencing laws used to put armed and violent predators behind bars should be abolished”.

So here is the picture.  This is Liberal Fascism at it clearest.  Prevent citizens from defending themselves, either through the use of the law or through the use of weapons.  This then allows the government to take even greater control and to eliminate even more individual freedoms.  When we are all disarmed, Barack Hussein Obama can do to us exactly what Mussolini, Hitler, and Saddam Hussein did to their fellow citizens.  Eliminate all that disagree and take total control of the nation.

There is danger ahead.  Are you ready?

It seems that Americans have developed increasingly shorter memories.  People like columnist Steve Chapman (Minneapolis Star Tribune, 5/11/08) want us to believe that the war in Iraq was unnecessary since “In the 12 years after the first Gulf War, we kept (Saddam Hussein) in a box, where he was no threat to us or his neighbors.”

That may be the reality people like Chapman believes.  Or it might be the reality that he and his cohorts want to create so that we lose track of the real truth about the war and the reasons for it.

Perry Nouis, Lt. Col, USAF (retired) noted in a letter to the Minneapolis Star Tribune (5/18/08 that there were many reasons for engaging in a war in Iraq.  First of all, Saddam Hussein was a terrorist and since 9/11 every terrorist needs to be considered a threat.  “Beside his regime paying homicide bombers $25,000 to blow themselves up in public areas in Israel, it also hosted international terrorists, including well-credentialed terrorist Abu Nidal in Baghdad.  Further, the Iraqi military shot at U.S. and coalition aircraft nearly daily as they enforced no-fly zones in northern and southern Iraq…(and) Saddam pretended to have weapons of mass destruction when he did not, and that required us to call his bluff.”  In addition to all this, the United Nations had no interest in enforcing resolutions that they created requiring specific actions by Saddam. 

The United States and its allies had no real choice but to rid the world of Saddam and his ruthless regime.  Yet, these events have been ignored by leftist columnists, the Hollywood elite, and the rest of the liberal fascist movement.

Saying something doesn’t make it true.  Interestingly, people like Chapman are using a ploy long used in Arabic culture: make a statement loudly that is completely false, with a completely straight face, and demand that the lie be taken as truth.  It is an interesting and often successful approach.  People like Chapman dishonor themselves by using it.

For whatever reason, the trial of Michael Stoner will not occur until July 28 (Washburn County Register, 5/14/08).  Stoner is accused of severely abusing Emmaline manning who spent 6 months on life support.  She is apparently now out of the hospital although there is conflicting information about her well-being.  Stoner remains in jail on $50,000 bond.

According to iCasualities.org, at least 425 contractors from a diverse array of nations have been killed in Iraq.  These are men and women who were working in Iraq to support their families and to better their lives.  They were murdered, often after being tortured.

Where are all the human rights “activists” now?

After Abu Ghraib, every leftist pacifist human rights group in the world was all over the so-called torture committed by American soldiers.  I have waited for over a month to hear the same condemnation for those who brutally murdered 425 contractors…and yet, hardly a murmur. 

Why is that?

Well, let’s put all this in perspective.  I have used the term “liberal fascist” in previous commentaries.  The term was coined by Jonah Goldberg, a columnist for the Los Angeles Times.  His book, Liberal Fascism, traces the history of fascism from Mussolini to current day leftists in America.  The similarities are glaring.

Goldberg (Doubleday, 2007) notes that Nazis:

·        were socialists (i.e., The National Socialist Party)

·        believed in free health care

·        believed in guaranteed jobs

·        confiscated inherited wealth (think about estate taxes in America)

·        spent large amounts of money on public education

·        purged the church from public policy

·        promoted pagan spirituality (think about radical environmentalism in America)

·        used the authority of government to take away personal freedoms

·        worked to ban smoking in most places

·        supported abortion

·        supported euthanasia

·        supported gun control

·        limited the free market

·        maintained a strict racial quota system in higher education

·        maintained campus speech codes

·        led the word in organic farming

·        promoted vegetarianism

·        promoted animal rights

·        led the world in alternative medicine

Now doesn’t that sound familiar.  Ask any liberal whether they support the items on this list.  Don’t mention where the list comes from.  Most will agree with at least 90% of the list.

So back to the question:  Why is it that leftists ignore atrocities by Islamic fascists and condemn relatively minor infractions by America’s military?

The answer now becomes quite clear.  The American “left” shares ideology with islamofascists.  BOTH ARE FASCISTS!  Both want to take away the personal freedoms of those they pretend to represent. 

Here is one dramatic example of this fact.

Keith Ellison (R-Minn) is a Muslim.  On May 6 of this year, he spoke via video conference with a group of Egyptian journalists and academicians.  The goal, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune (5/7/08) was to bridge “gaps in cultural understanding”.  He spoke in Arab on occasion during the presentation.  The message was that “political life for U.S. Muslims is better than many might suppose in the Arab world”.  Questions from the Arab audience centered around whether American society accepts Muslims.  Ellison stated: America is getting better, is getting more tolerant and inclusive of all people”.

One letter writer to the Minneapolis Star Tribune (Brad Johnson, 5/10/08) hit the nail on the head.  “How crazy that Ellison felt he had to assure these folks that ‘America is getting better’.  Our country’s diverse population, its modern track record of inclusiveness and scrupulous protection of individual rights speak for themselves.  I wish Ellison could have turned the mike and camera around and asked the…Arab-Muslim Egyptians—whose country has driven out or subjugated every other kind of people—if they even understand what ‘tolerant and inclusive’ means.”

The observation is interesting and spot-on.  Of course Ellison won’t ask that question of Muslim-Arabs.  No more than he will ask himself why he and his leftist friends want to control the lives of the rest of us…why they want to take away my constitutional rights…why they want to control healthcare, gun ownership, the right to smoke, the right to control property…why they want to control the right of Christians to exercise their religion…the list is unending.

Keith Ellison and the rest of the far left don’t ask those questions because that would give them away for what they are…Liberal Fascists. 

The Democrat Party may well have to change its name.  With the attention being given to the issue of “super delegates”, it seems clear that the party has little if any interest in Democracy.  According to John Hopwood (Associated Content, February 7, 2008):

“Super delegates were created by the Democratic Party in 1980,…The genesis of the creation of super delegates was a desire to dampen down the democracy that was infused in the Democratic Party as a result of the bruising 1968 political convention in Chicago, Illinois.”
