View Article  The Creed of the Left: If Caught Lying, Bite Harder

U.S. Representative Michelle Bachmann is one of the few true conservatives in Minnesota politics and one of just a few in the House of Representatives.  She says what she thinks and, although she may sometimes lack finesse, she is usually correct.  On his blog at washingtonmonthly.com (Political Animal, February 17), Steve Benen takes the approach of almost all leftists in his reaction to the latest interview by Rep. Bachmann.  He attacked not just the words but the person.  In fact, the title of the piece is “Idiocy Watch”.

I hate smugness and Benen smells of smugness.  This is what Benen wrote in response to the points he picked out of Rep. Bachmann’s interview in Minneapolis.

Bachmann stated that ACORN is “under federal indictment for voter fraud,” but the stimulus bill nevertheless gives ACORN “$5 billion.”  Benen stated that “in reality, ACORN is not under federal indictment and isn’t mentioned in the stimulus bill…”

While Benen appears to be correct about the fact that ACORN is not currently under federal indictment for voter fraud, Ken Blackwell reports that “ACORN personnel are facing criminal charges in over a dozen states. In Washington State, for example, seven ACORN leaders had felony charges filed against them for voter fraud.”  Also, According to House Republican Leader John Boehner, ACORN was mentioned in earlier versions of the stimulus package (see link below).

http://republicanleader.house.gov/News/DocumentSingle.aspx?DocumentID=10933

This would seem to be a bad time to parse words.  The truth is that ACORN is a criminal organization that has been allowed to stretch its leash much further than should be.  That leash will grow even longer under the Obama Administration.

Bachmann stated that many members of Congress have "a real aversion to capitalism."  Benen scoffed at that statement.

·        Many members of Congress and President Obama certainly have an aversion to capitalism.  That is why the “stimulus bill” moves us one step closer to nationalization of business and the financial markets which brings us one step closer to National Socialism (Fascism).

Bachmann noted that the stimulus bill includes a measure to create a "rationing board" for health care, and after the bill becomes law, "your doctor will no longer be able to make your healthcare decisions with you."  Benen, of course, sneered at that statement.

·        The so-called “stimulus bill” sets up the foundation for creating national health care which, in fact and by definition, requires rationing of medical and mental health care.

Finally, Bachmann stated that the "Community-Organizer-in-Chief" is also orchestrating a conspiracy involving the Census Bureau, which the president will use to redraw congressional lines to keep Democrats in power for up to "40 years."  Benen stated that when the host said he was confused, noting that congressional district lines are drawn at the state level, Bachmann said Obama's non-existent plan is an "anti-constitutional move."

·        It has been confirmed by a White House spokesman that the director of the Census Bureau will no longer report to the commerce secretary but to the White House.  This gives an incredible advantage to any administration that wants to politicize the census process.

Benen went on to further attack Rep. Bachmann at a personal level.  He stated the following:

“At one point, Bachmann told the host, ‘We are literally losing our country.’

Congresswoman, you've literally lost something, but I don't think it's your country… The whole interview is about 13 minutes long, but it's worth listening to, if only to appreciate just how truly disturbed some far-right members of Congress have become…There's no point in trying to fact-check such unhinged stupidity, but I should note that none of this is in anyway grounded in reality. I should also note that we're not talking about some strange nut screaming on a street corner; this is all coming from an elected member of Congress.”

·        Rep. Bachman is correct.  We ARE literally losing our country.  And it is columns like Benen’s that are assisting Liberal Fascists in making that happen.

There are two types of Oblivions.  Oblivions of the First Type are just ignorant of the facts either because they don’t take the time to learn or because they are incapable of comprehending the facts.  Oblivions of the Second Type are people who choose to edit out information that doesn’t fit their own world view or political agenda.

Which type of Oblivion is Mr. Benen?

I ask this because in order for Benen to just outright deny everything Rep. Bachmann stated, he is either ignorant or he is purposefully denying information so that his world view is not destroyed by fact and so that his ideology prevails.  In effect, Benen calls Rep. Bachman an idiot, unhinged, and stupid and he likens her to “some strange nut screaming on a street corner”.   For him to go on a personal attack against Rep. Bachmann (as well as any other conservative), Benen just shows himself for what he is: another hack who goes on the attack against people who state facts that could open the eyes of the public to this move to take America toward Liberal Fascism.

There is no doubt that we are losing America.  There is no doubt that the end result of the stimulus package and bailout is nationalization of industry, health care, and banking.  There is no doubt that unless we do something quickly, everything our founding fathers believed in will be torn apart.  God help us when the Administration turns its sights on the Bill of Rights.

By the way, Steve Benen seems to write a blog entry almost every hour.  Maybe he could do us all a service by getting a job and contributing to society.  Oh, wait…that wouldn’t be living up to the ideals of the new socialist America.

View Article  The Political World of Science

In 2009, just as it was in pre-war Germany, “science” has become extraordinarily politicized.  In the years leading up to World War II, that politicization was directed by the National Socialist Party.  Today, the politicization of science is something that Hitler could have only dreamed of.  Not only is science the lapdog of America’s Democrat Socialist Party, but also of Liberal Fascism all across the globe.

Here is an example.  On February 14, Julie Steenhuysen (Reuters) wrote that “The climate is heating up faster than scientists had predicted, spurred by sharp increases in greenhouse gas emissions from developing countries like China and India…”.  Steenhuysen was quoting Chris Field, a member of the intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).  Field concluded that “the impact of climate change would be ‘more serious and diverse’ than the IPCC’s most recent predictions.”

There are many things to pay attention to in this latest scare attack by Liberal, Environmental Fascists.  First of all, they are now targeting developing countries.  One reason that Presidents Clinton and Bush opposed global environmental treaties was because developing countries are not held accountable for their contribution to greenhouse emissions.  Liberal Fascists ignored this fact until now.

Second of all, this admission actually negates much of their impact.  The United States has no control whatsoever on the actions of China and India.  Yet, in the past, the Environmental Fascists have blamed America (and other western nations) first for “global warming”.

Third, Environmental Fascists are now using a different term for “global warming”.  Now, they use the term “climate change”.  I believe there is a very good reason for that shift in terminology.  Now, whether the climate warms or cools, they are covered.  And this is not something to be taken loosely.

On February 15 (Minneapolis StarTribune), George Will wrote the following:

“(Energy Secretary Steven) Chu told the Los Angeles Times that global warming might melt 90 percent of California's snowpack, which stores much of the water needed for agriculture. This, Chu said, would mean ‘no more agriculture in California,’ the nation's leading food producer. Chu added: ‘I don't actually see how they can keep their cities going.’”

Will noted a similar call to panic promoted by scientists in the 1970’s.  And yet the “evidence” at that time pointed in the opposite direction.

According to Will, “In the 1970s, ‘a major cooling of the planet’ was ‘widely considered inevitable’ because it was ‘well established’ that the Northern Hemisphere's climate ‘has been getting cooler since about 1950’ (New York Times, May 21, 1975). Although some disputed that the ‘cooling trend’ could result in ‘a return to another ice age’ (the Times, Sept. 14, 1975), others anticipated ‘a full-blown 10,000-year ice age’ involving ‘extensive Northern Hemisphere glaciation’ (Science News, March 1, 1975, and Science magazine, Dec. 10, 1976, respectively).

“The ‘continued rapid cooling of the Earth’ (Global Ecology, 1971) meant that ‘a new ice age must now stand alongside nuclear war as a likely source of wholesale death and misery’ (International Wildlife, July 1975). ‘The world's climatologists are agreed’ that we must ‘prepare for the next ice age’ (Science Digest, February 1973). Because of ‘ominous signs’ that ‘the Earth's climate seems to be cooling down,’ meteorologists were ‘almost unanimous’ that ‘the trend will reduce agricultural productivity for the rest of the century,’ perhaps triggering catastrophic famines (Newsweek cover story, ‘The Cooling World,’ April 28, 1975). Armadillos were fleeing south from Nebraska, heat-seeking snails were retreating from central European forests, the North Atlantic was ‘cooling down about as fast as an ocean can cool,’ glaciers had ‘begun to advance’ and ‘growing seasons in England and Scandinavia are getting shorter’ (Christian Science Monitor, Aug. 27, 1974).

“Speaking of experts, in 1980 Paul Ehrlich, a Stanford scientist and environmental Cassandra who predicted calamitous food shortages by 1990, accepted a bet with economist Julian Simon. When Ehrlich predicted the imminent exhaustion of many nonrenewable natural resources, Simon challenged him: Pick a ‘basket’ of any five such commodities, and I will wager that in a decade the price of the basket will decline, indicating decreased scarcity. Ehrlich picked five metals -- chrome, copper, nickel, tin and tungsten -- that he predicted would become more expensive. Not only did the price of the basket decline, the price of all five declined.

An expert Ehrlich consulted in picking the five was John Holdren, who today is President Obama's science adviser.

“Credentialed intellectuals, too -- actually, especially -- illustrate Montaigne's axiom: ‘Nothing is so firmly believed as what we least know.’

“As global levels of sea ice declined last year, many experts said this was evidence of man-made global warming. Since September, however, the increase in sea ice has been the fastest change, either up or down, since 1979, when satellite record-keeping began. According to the University of Illinois' Arctic Climate Research Center, global sea ice levels now equal those of 1979.” (FYI, the latter data may be inaccurate.  Further investigation is necessary.)

The same scientists now predicting doom from warming were predicting doom from cooling in the 1970’s.  Either they are ignorant or they are politicized.  I predict that both are true.  And that is a prediction that I can make without fear of failure, unlike the predictions that have been made by those scientists over the past four decades. Unfortunately, president Obama has chosen one of the worst failures of all time (John Holdren) to be his science advisor.  But of course, that makes sense.  John Holden walks the course determined by Liberal, Environmental Fascists.  And that is the course being set by President Obama.

As a psychologist, I can tell you that there is nothing more fascinating that observing, people.  Over the past 33 years in this profession, I have found “people watching” to be the most educational process that I have experienced.  So now, as we move in the “messianic era” of American history, I find it remarkable to watch the political selection process used by President Obama.

Remember, President Obama was raised in the corrupt Illinois political underbelly of America.  In that world, ethics do not exist.  The only thing that matters is political success, power, and, most of all, MONEY.

Given that background, I am not surprised that President Obama nominated Nancy Killefer to oversee budget and spending reform.  I am not surprised that he also nominated Tom Daschle for the HHS position or Timothy Geithner for the position of Treasury Secretary.  These are three very critical positions.  Our President selected three criminals for those positions.  None of them apparently have the integrity needed to pay their taxes.  At least Killefer and Daschle had someone tell them that they should withdraw.

President Obama is apparently so used to not checking the criminal histories of his accomplices that he didn’t bother to check on whether or not these morons paid their taxes.

Tax evasion is a crime.  (Don’t bother telling me that they didn’t understand the law.  That doesn’t work when they are part of the tax problem in the first place.).

Here is the funny part.  (Not funny as in HaHa, but as in This is Pathetic.).

These leftist elitist morons, along with Charlie Rangel (Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee who also doesn’t pay his taxes),  are the ones who want US to pay more taxes to support their agenda.  In their world, however, US means you and me.  It definitely does NOT mean them.

These are some pathetic human beings.

May God bless us all!
