I just sent this message to my family in New Hampshire.  For those of you who don't know, the state motto in New Hampshire is "Live Free or Die".  It is on their license plates and used to be in their hearts.  For some it still is.

The picture of the tattoo is on the right.

To All:

Well, I did it yesterday.  I got my second tattoo.  I guess it is not appropriate for the president of a motorcycle organization to have only one tattoo.  LOL

Anyway, this one is in honor of all of you who still value individual freedom...the right to live a free life according to the Bill of Rights of the Constitution of the United States of America.  The right to live free of government inferference beyond that set down by the Constitution. The right to not have our property confiscated with no real reason other than greed.  The right to choose the risks we take without being arrested.  The right to free expression, the right to assemble, the right to own and carry weapons as law abiding citizens.  The right to freedom of religion.  You all know that there is no such thing in our Constitution as "separation of church and state" and that the term only appears in the constitution of the old U.S.S.R.

I am fortunate to have been raised in a state that proclaimed one simple commitment:  To Live Free or Die.  Most Americans seem to have lost that commitment.  Our leader is bowing (literally) to the king of a foreign nation.  He is condemning America in foreign nations (an act that lost the Dixie Chicks their standing in the music industry but is hailed by the elite media when President Obama does it).  We are allowing Somali pirates to hold us hostage.  We are allowing North Korea and Iran to assume roles as equals in the discussion of their nuclear capabilities.  We are destroying Capitalism...the economic system that helped create this great nation.  We are nationalizing industry, finance, and healthcare.  People who have never taken a cent from the government are being lured toward what they believe to be "free money".

Nothing is free.

All the same steps taken in pre-war Germany as Hitler gained total control of the German population and eventually destroyed that nation and its economy.  We are moving toward liberal fascism, otherwise known as national socialism...the party that was headed by Hitler.  The same man that my father fought to defeat.

But I know all of you in New Hampshire and Maine still value the commitment to freedom.  That is why I had this tattoo done yesterday.  And it feels REALLY GOOD!
