The Obama Administration raised a national “panic” about the potential impact of the Swine Flu. The Administration’s alarm reaction was foisted on the people in many ways, not the least of which was Vice President Biden’s panic alert to the press. He advised staying home, not getting on a train or plane, and cowering in the basement (well, I am paraphrasing). As Vice President he is charged with saying the absurd (he is so good at it anyway). His absurdity, while eventually laughed off, serves a purpose for the Administration every time.
Now the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has announced that, in effect, the Swine Flu is similar in impact to ordinary seasonal flu. When the seasonal flu hits, thousands of people become ill and thousands die across the globe. When that happens, the elite media barely mentions it. But now the Administration and its PR Company (the elite media) won’t let the story die. Three people have died in the
Of course people die of the flu. That is sad but it is part of our reality as humans. So why do the Administration and the elite media refuse to let go of the “crisis”?
As always, when watching a magician, watch the OTHER hand. When the magician is doing something that may be observed in one hand, he redirects attention to the “innocent” hand. As we watch the innocent hand, the deed is being done in the no-so-innocent hand. Then, when the illusion is complete, we stand in awe of the feat.
I think that we can honestly ask the question, what is President Obama doing with that not-so-innocent hand?
