In my April 23 commentary I wrote the following:

“Regarding Iran:  Here is a thought.  Maybe what (President Obama) has done is not cave at all.  The arrest and “trial” of the South Dakota reporter (Roxana Saberi) for “spying” in Iran was a wonderful opportunity for President Obama.  Iran has already said that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had nothing to do with the trail since in Iran the “justice department” is independent of the dictator (yeah, right).  But, President Obama “complained” and Ahmadinejad called for a “fair appeal”.  My guess is that Saberi will be released and President Obama will be given credit by his PR firm (the media) and he and Ahmadinejad will be able to sit down together and “negotiate”. 

“Planned ahead or not---YOU make the call.  Either way, everyone wins…sort of.  Actually, if this works it will bring America closer to a partnership with the very islamofascists we are fighting and closer to the liberal fascist state that seems to be the goal of the Obama administration.”

Today is May 11.  Saberi apparently is being released after an “appeal”.  That is part one of the scenario I outlined as a possibility regarding America’s relationship with an incredibly evil enemy.  Now we will see how soon the “negotiations” take place.
