Due to its greed, the UAW contributed to the destruction of the American automobile industry.  It was joined in this effort by government which did its part by regulating the life out of the industry.  Now the United Auto Workers union owns a good portion of the automobile industry.  Government is its chief partner in this strange ownership model.

It strikes me as ironic that given the destruction they have wreaked; neither the UAW nor the government really owns much of anything.  With CEO Obama’s leadership, neither the government nor the union will ever own anything other than a failed industry selling cars that no one wants. 

How’s that for a business model?!  It is just about as solid as President Obama’s national security plan.
